The
Arts Living & Learning Community (ALLC) will be an artistic oasis for
first-year students who will be the first residents of the new residence
hall on the University of Toledo campus.
The ALLC is an exciting environment that will provide support for academic, artistic,
and personal development. ALLC students may be interested in majoring in
the arts, but the floor will also include first-year students who appreciate
the arts but do not choose to major in theatre, film, music, art, or creative
writing.
ALLC students will benefit from on-site general education classes, on-site academic
advising, guest artists in-residence, and in-hall lectures and performances.

ALLC
students will work closely with faculty from all of the arts departments
and will have access to in hall practice rooms, studios, galleries, and performance
spaces. ALLC
students will take a specially-designed, two-semester, general education course
that will involve tours of art studios and galleries,
as well as attendance at arts performances.
